Stand UP & Speak OUT (SUSO) is an empathy and connection through the arts initiative that creates original musical films with sustainable educational components.
SUSO provides Social Emotional Learning (SEL) tools to build a more harmonious world one song and story at a time.
This influential, musical film series is the ONLY academic, research-driven and data-informed program with life-long lasting impact.
We are partnered with The CT Commission on Women, Children, Seniors, Equity and Opportunity and have 501c3 Status.
A film about bullying. Appropriate for grades 5-12.
A film about gun safety. Appropriate for grades 9-12.
A film about substance abuse. Appropriate for grades 8-12.
Stand UP Film Series Features:
Available at no cost to schools in Connecticut.
Episode 1 includes a question and theme guide for post viewing educational purposes created by Dr. Robin Stern and Mariam Korangy from the Yale University Center for Emotional Intelligence.
